Police officers and a border patrol officer at the official opening of the border crossing between Welitsch (Bavaria) and Heinersdorf, a part of the town of Judenbach (Thuringia), which had already been installed on 19 November 1989. During German separation, Heinersdorf was located in a prohibited area, and at the southern border of the town there was a concrete wall similar to the Berlin Wall.
