Two guests at the Soviet Film Ball at the House of Soviet Science and Culture, today the Russian House of Science and Culture. In addition to the Soviet forces’ swing orchestra and the Friedrichsstadtpalast ballet troupe, West Berlin stars such as Queen Yahna and Helen Schneider, performed. The ball was organized by a West Berlin agency to coincide with the Berlin International Film Festival. The main sponsors were a cigarette company and a West German brewery.
