A wind ensemble between Bächlein (Kronach) and Rotheul (Sonneberg); the inner German border was opened on 11 November 1989 beginning with Kronach (Bavaria) and Sonneberg and Saalfeld (Thuringia). On 31 March 1990, the border between Rotheul, a part of Neuhaus-Schierschnitz (Thuringia) and Bächlein (Bavaria) was officially opened.
